The Silage Defacer range has been created to safely and efficiently remove high volumes of maize and wholecrop silage whilst retaining a smooth silage clamp face. This allows the user complete control of the face to prevent fermentation and heating of the silage. Featuring Hardox tines this is the ultimate claw for defacing to your exact requirements.
Our Shear Grabs have been the recognised market leader for a number of years. Manufactured by ourselves in our Tewkesbury facility, we are proud that our grabs are British built, supporting the British dairy industry. We have built on this vast experience of silage handling to take this step into high volume silage removal while retaining silage quality.

Ejector Option
New for 2020, we have developed an Ejector Gate option for our Shear King range of Shear Grabs. The benefits of an Ejector system include;-
- Assisting wheeled loaders with restricted lift height in loading high sided feeder wagons
- Allows silage to be cleanly cut and pushed out in a solid block – solid blocks maintain calorific value whilst reducing wastage
